Allison Beach (3rd grade) is very excited to be a 3rd grade teacher at Early Light Academy. She received her B.S. in Human and Consumer Sciences from Ohio University, and worked as a retail buyer in Ohio, New York, and New Jersey. After working in this industry for several years, she found her passion in teaching and decided to return to grad school and obtain her teaching license. Allison is currently working on her master’s degree in Early Childhood Education through Ashland University. She has been privileged to teach several years in kindergarten and pre-kindergarten classrooms in Alaska and Ohio, and has also been a substitute teacher for grades K-5. While she enjoys teaching all subjects, her favorite is language arts.

Allison, her husband, and their son are looking forward to moving back from Alaska to the “lower 48” this summer. Allison loves to read, cook, knit, hike and ski (both downhill and nordic). Allison is thrilled to meet her new students and their parents!
