Candice Kugler (Music) grew up in the Midwest, but she has called Utah home for the past 12 years. She is passionate about vocal instruction and passing on the amazing benefits that come from being involved in the art of music. Candice embraced musical performance at a very early age, and has diligently continued to refine and hone her craft. Today her breadth of experience ranges from touring Europe with the Kansas State Concert Choir to playing keyboard and singing in various rock-n-roll bands. After receiving a bachelor’s degree in Music Education from Kansas State University, she and her husband, Kyle, moved west to Salt Lake City. Candice taught at several schools in the Salt Lake area before choosing to stay home and start a family. She has been home schooling her three daughters for the past four years and has loved every minute of it. When she isn't in the classroom, Candice can be found directing musicals for South Jordan Community Theater, of which she is a founding board member. Her private teaching experience ranges from youth to adult with an emphasis on healthy vocal technique and performance practice. Her students enjoy Candice's sparkling personality, encouraging demeanor, and technical expertise. In her leisure, Candice enjoys evenings out with her husband, days at the park with her kids, and scrapbooking with friends. |
