German Lopez, JD (CTE/Business), is a research developer for the Waterford Research Institute and for public and private schools in Mexico and Spain, and he has spoken at various educational conferences in Mexico. He is an attorney at law (Mexico) with a Masters in Education from ISIDM in Mexico, as well as an associate degree in Paralegal Studies from Salt Lake Community College (SLCC), and a master's degree in Comparative Law from BYU. For 12 years, German was a professor of law in Mexico at ITESO, and for 6 years, he has been an adjunct professor of business law at SLCC. He is the business owner of International Consulting Systems LLC, and co-owner of Startech Languages and Incosglobal LLC. He is also the author of the children's book, A Feathery Tale.

German believes in schools that teach students to be critical thinkers, to solve everyday problems, and to use technology. He believes curriculum should be research based, and the learning process should be meaningful and fun, enabling students to reach their true potential. German is the father of five children.
