Jena McCrory (1st Grade) is originally from the suburbs of Philadelphia, After graduating from West Chester University in 2005 with a degree in Elementary Education, she moved to Utah to be closer to extended family and enjoy the beautiful mountains. For the past three years, she has taught at Entheos Academy as a first and second grade teacher. This summer, Jena will spend three weeks in Peru studying ecology and biology in the rainforest as a fellow for Fund for Teachers, a non-profit organization that provides educational grants to teachers for summer sabbaticals. She is excited to bring the adventure and wonder of the rainforest back to her first grade students at ELA. As an educator, Jena’s passion is literacy; her goal is to instill a love for reading in all her students. She looks forward to the upcoming school year and to meeting her students and their families.
