Julie is a Global HR Manager for Rewards and Recognition at a large international consulting firm. Julie has worked for the same company for the last decade since graduating cum laude from the University of Washington with a BA in Business. Since moving to Salt Lake City over 7 years ago from Seattle, Julie has enjoyed the flexibility in working from home. Telecommuting and having a stay-at-home husband has allowed her the flexibility to pursue an active career and balance family time with her two adventurous children (ages 3 and 5).

Julie’s extensive background in human relations, negotiations and communications working with high level leadership in 45 countries has prepared her for working with a variety of personalities and work with increased efficiency. As the VP of Governing Board, Julie is committed to the success of The Early Light Academy and providing a positive learning environment for our students and teachers.
