Teresa Thompson (Teaching Assistant) was born and raised in Beaverton, Oregon. She began taking care of her 3 younger sisters as well as other children when she was only 10 years old, and has been caring for children ever since! After traveling coast to coast and beyond, she eventually made her way to Logan where she received her degree in Communicative Disorders with a minor in Psychology from Utah State University. When her son and daughter went to school, Teresa enjoyed involvement as a PTA volunteer, classroom volunteer, and a kindergarten aid. She believes that one of the biggest miracles of childhood is watching a young mind learn how to read!

In her free time, Teresa enjoys volunteer work, amateur photography, singing, eating out, and going for walks with friends and family. She is the mother of a boy in 6th grade and a girl in 3rd grade, who are both lucky enough to be attending Early Light Academy this fall. She and her children are looking forward to a fun-filled first year!
