Carol Wann (Special Education Assistant) was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. As a little girl, she remembers school field trips to visit the Betsy Ross house, Gettysburg, and Independence Hall where she actually touched the Liberty Bell. She has traveled all over this great country and loves to bring her experiences into the classroom to help children understand their heritage. Carol graduated from Colorado Christian University with a four-year degree in Teaching and a minor in Music, and is now in a master's program. She has worked with Cyndie Fountaine, the ELA's Special Education director, for the past three years and enjoys the reading, phonics, and handwriting programs that will be used in the classrooms. While she feels her strengths lie in English and math, she looks forward to helping students with challenges in any subject.

Carol moved to this area three years ago and loves the people and scenery of Utah. She has three grown children and two grandchildren. When she has some free time, you will find her reading, figuring out word puzzles, or doing anything that involves having a needle in her hand. She is excited to be at Early Light Academy this year and looks forward to working with the staff and meeting all the new students.
