Bonnie was born and raised in Holladay, Utah. She graduated from Olympus High School, received her bachelor's degree in Communications Disorders from the University of Utah and her Master's of Education in Speech and Language Pathology from Utah State University. 

Bonnie has 5 boys and 1 daughter-in-law and lives close to the mountains with her husband Brandon.  She speaks Russian and has lived in St. Petersburg and other cities in Russia.  Most Saturdays in the winter, she's skiing with her family at Snowbird and has taught all her boys how to ski. She's excited to be working at ELA.
