Originally from Colorado, Melanie moved to Utah a year ago from Auburn, Alabama. She has worked as a literacy paraprofessional, a 2nd/4th grade classroom teacher, a writing coach at a community college, and now as a special education paraprofessional. She believes in a growth mindset and in supporting students as they seek to find their best selves both academically and personally. Mrs. Fisk hopes to be a trusted adult for every student at Early Light Academy.

When she is not supporting students at ELA or chasing her three energetic sons, Melanie is likely hiking, gardening, singing, relaxing with a good book, or working out at the gym. She is thrilled to be part of the team at Early Light Academy.
