Sara Joglar
Social Worker
Sara attended Weber State University for her undergraduate degree in Social Work and Boise State University for her Master's in Social Work. She is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and has worked with at-risk youth and families for 27 years.
Sara is trained in different modalities including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Motivational Interviewing, TBRI (Trust Based Relational Intervention), and TF-CBT (Trauma focused-cognitive behavioral therapy).
Sara was a foster parent for 16 years and worked with youth in the foster care system for 20 years. In addition to providing therapy, Sara teaches a high conflict co parenting class for families experiencing symptoms caused by high conflict divorce. Sara's practice is in Ogden, UT where she provides family systems therapy, individual therapy, reunification therapy and works with people of all ages.
This is Sara's 4th year at Early Light Academy. She enjoys connecting with students and participating in their understanding and development of emotional and behavioral regulation and overall well being.
At home, she enjoys spending time with her family, which includes her husband, youngest daughter, two dogs and two cats.
