Shannon was born and raised in Rhode Island and is the oldest of 5 girls. She grew up reading, drawing, fishing, going to the beach, jumping on trampolines, and playing Just Dance with her parents and sisters. She moved to Utah in 2017 to attend BYU, lived in Russia from 2018-2020, and has lived in Utah since returning from Russia. 

While studying Special Education at BYU, Shannon met and married her husband Brandon. They love going on walks, playing video games, chilling with their cats, binge watching funny TV shows, spending time with friends and family, and going to Taco Bell and Chick Fil A together. 

When Shannon isn't working, you can find her reading a good thriller or historical fiction book, cooking, baking some type of bread, listening to a podcast, speaking Russian, watching a documentary, or doing a puzzle. She loves to learn, and enjoys helping students learn and grow.
